Estate planning is an essential component of the transition process. While no family faces the same set of circumstances when planning for the future, there are some basic estate plans that most people follow. In this recording, Extension Educator Dave Bau discusses the basics of wills and trusts. A will is a legal document that lists instructions regarding the distribution and management of your assets. Much like a bucket where you can place your assets, a trust can provide a means to hold and manage your property.
